These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of https://www.buildbetterpakistan.com (the "Site"), published by Build Better Pakistan ("we", "us"). By using the Site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

Independent reporting, for information only

Build Better Pakistan is an independent publication. We report on events, policies and public data, and explain the context around them. We do not publish opinion pieces, and we are not affiliated with, funded by or acting for any political party, candidate, government body or interest group. Statements we report from officials, organisations or other people are theirs, attributed to them, and not endorsed by us.

Everything on the Site is general information. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, safety or other professional advice, and it does not take your circumstances into account. Do not act or refrain from acting on the basis of anything on the Site without taking advice from a qualified professional or checking the relevant official source.

Accuracy, timeliness and corrections

We work to report accurately and to cite our sources, but news develops and figures are revised. We make no promise that any content is complete, current or free of error, and articles reflect what was known on their publication date. If you believe something we published is wrong, email info@buildbetterpakistan.com with the details. We review every correction request and correct errors we confirm.

Prices, rates and market data

Fuel prices, gold and silver rates, exchange rates, stock-market figures and similar data on the Site are drawn from third-party and official sources, may be delayed, and are shown for general reference only. They are not offers, quotes or trading signals. Confirm any figure with the official source or your dealer before relying on it.

Our content

Articles, graphics and other original material on the Site belong to Build Better Pakistan or its licensors. You may share links freely, and quote brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the original article. Any other reproduction, republication or commercial use needs our written permission. Photographs are credited to their owners and remain subject to those owners' licences.

What you send us

When you send us a tip, message or other material, you confirm that you have the right to share it and you allow us to use it for our reporting. We decide independently whether and how to report on anything we receive, and we have no obligation to publish it or reply. Please do not send material that is unlawful, defamatory or that you are not entitled to share.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Site in a way that breaks the law, infringes anyone else's rights, interferes with the Site's operation or security, or scrapes or copies content in bulk for republication.

Links to other websites

We link to official documents, other publications and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

No warranties

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Build Better Pakistan and its editors, contributors and service providers are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or any content, data or link on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If, despite these Terms, Build Better Pakistan is found liable to you for any reason, our total liability for all claims relating to the Site is limited to USD 100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Build Better Pakistan against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Site, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any such dispute must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

You agree to bring any claim only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding. Any claim relating to the Site must be filed within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred.

Nothing in this section removes rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Changes and severability

We may change these Terms or the Site at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the Site means you accept it. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
